Moderation should end on time.
JSD is made by Vexoris Development, a small independent studio. It's a server-jail system for Discord: timed detention that actually ends, a private hearing behind every jail, and a case record staff can trust. We run our own infrastructure and build in public.
Four rules we build by.
Timed, not permanent
Detention has an expiry. The clock runs out, roles come back, and the member returns without anyone having to remember.
Due process
Jailed members get a private appeal. Moderation is reviewable, not a one-way door.
Records that stick
Every jail, release and decision gets a case ID, so history doesn't vanish when staff change.
Config you control
Roles, channels, categories and escalation live with your server. Nothing runs until an admin runs /setup.
One database. Two ways in.
The bot and the website read and write the same case store, so what you see on the web is what the bot did.
Slash commands for jailing, releasing, appeals, tickets and setup, plus the sweeper that never forgets a release.
Members see their clock and history. Server owners get setup health, queues and analytics from the browser.
