1. Who we are
JSD (Jailer System Detention) is operated by Vexoris ("we", "us"). The service includes the Discord bot and the website at jsd.vexoris.dev. This Policy covers both.
2. Data we collect
From Discord (bot operation): guild (server) IDs; user IDs of jailed members, moderators, and staff who interact with commands; case records (reason, category, duration, timestamps, state, role snapshots, notes); guild configuration (roles, channels, timezone, DM templates); and appeal-related channel identifiers.
From Discord OAuth (website): your Discord user ID, username, avatar URL, email (if granted), and guild membership or permissions needed to show servers you can manage.
Technical data: standard server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps) for security and reliability of jsd.vexoris.dev.
Billing (when enabled): payment and subscription metadata processed by our payment provider (for example, Stripe). We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
Not collected in the current version: file uploads or appeal attachments (planned for a future release with separate storage controls).
3. How we use data
- Operate jail, release, appeals, auto-release, and audit logging
- Power member and server dashboards after you log in
- Enforce Free and Pro plan entitlements per Discord server
- Secure the service, prevent abuse, and debug outages
- Communicate about account, billing, or material service changes
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Legal bases (EEA/UK where applicable)
Where GDPR or similar laws apply, we process data to perform our contract with you (providing JSD), for legitimate interests (security, product improvement, fraud prevention), and where required by law. Where we rely on consent (for example, optional marketing), you may withdraw it.
6. Retention
Case history and guild configuration are retained while JSD is used in a server and for a reasonable period afterward for audit integrity, dispute handling, and abuse prevention, unless a valid deletion request applies and deletion is feasible without breaking mandatory logs.
Web session data lasts for the session lifetime or until you log out or revoke access. Server logs are rotated on a shorter cycle.
7. Security
We use industry-standard measures appropriate to a Discord bot and web app (access controls, encrypted transport, secrets management). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export personal data, or to object to certain processing. Server owners may also request removal of guild configuration when removing the bot.
To submit a request, contact Vexoris via support channels on jsd.vexoris.dev. We may need to verify your Discord identity. Some data may be retained where legally required or where it identifies other users in shared case records (we will minimize or anonymize where possible).
9. Children
JSD is intended for Discord communities and operators who comply with Discord's age requirements. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children in violation of applicable law. If you believe we have, contact us for deletion.
10. International transfers
Data may be processed in the regions where our hosting and Discord infrastructure operate. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers.
11. Changes
We may update this Policy and will revise the "Last updated" date. Material changes may also be announced on the website.
