1. Scope
This User Policy applies to end users in servers that run JSD, including jailed members, appellants, and anyone who logs into jsd.vexoris.dev to view personal detention status. Server staff should also read the Bot Policy.
2. What JSD does
If staff jail you, JSD may remove (and later restore) roles, restrict you to designated jail channels, DM you a notice when possible, and create a case record with reason, category, duration, and outcome.
Detention rules and durations are set by that server's moderators, not by Vexoris. Disputes about whether a jail was fair should first go through that server's appeal or staff process.
3. Conduct while detained
While jailed you should:
- Remain in allowed channels (typically jail chat and your appeal channel)
- Follow Discord's Terms and Community Guidelines
- Avoid harassment, spam, or attempts to evade detention (for example, alt accounts)
- Use appeals in good faith with truthful statements and no threats or doxxing
Evading moderation or abusing appeals may lead to longer detention, denial of appeals, or bans by that server's staff, and may violate Discord rules.
4. Appeals
Where enabled, /appeal opens a private channel for staff review. Staff may release you, deny the appeal, or ban you according to their policies and Discord's rules.
JSD provides the tooling. Vexoris does not decide individual appeal outcomes for third-party servers.
5. Website access
Logging into jsd.vexoris.dev lets you view detention status, history, and appeal state linked to your Discord account. Keep your Discord login secure. Do not attempt to access another user's cases or circumvent access controls.
Data shown on the dashboard comes from the same systems described in our Privacy Policy.
6. Accuracy of notices
Jail DMs and embeds reflect information provided by moderators (reason, category, duration). If a notice looks wrong, contact that server's staff. Failed DMs (for example, closed DMs) do not cancel a jail.
7. Prohibited user behavior
- Abusing JSD commands or the website to harass others
- Attempting to exploit bugs for early release or data access
- Impersonating JSD staff or Vexoris
- Using the service to commit crimes or violate Discord policy
8. Enforcement
Server staff enforce their own rules. Separately, Vexoris may restrict website accounts or cooperate with Discord when this User Policy or the Terms are violated. Reports about abusive servers may be reviewed under the Bot Policy.
9. Getting help
About a jail in a specific server: contact that server's moderators or use /appeal / /jsd-help.
About the JSD product or your web account: use support channels on jsd.vexoris.dev and read the Docs.
